Cremation- to consume by fire; burn.
There is a big difference between ash and dust.
"Turn again unto dust" is the natural order of things. Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Job 21:26 They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.
Job 34:15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. Psalms 104:29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. Ecclesiastes 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Cremation is defiling the temple of GOD.
Destruction of the body has never been condoned by GOD. Amos 2:1 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime: 2:2 But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:
Amos 6:9 And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.
6:10 And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
6:11 For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.
Should a Christian condone this ungodly act?
Should a Christian ask their family members to commit such an ungodly act?
Not one place in the Bible will you find any GODly person ever cremating their dead. Even in difficult circumstances GOD's people in olden days practiced burial.
For example: Joseph's body was kept for over 400 years in Egypt and then carried through the 40 years of wilderness wanderings before being buried in Palestine, the Promised Land. (Genesis 50:24-25; Exodus 13:19 and Joshua 24:32)
GOD Himself buried Moses...
Our bodies belong to GOD; it is not ours to destroy by fire, or by any other means other than the way GOD has taught us through His written *Word* (the Bible) and His Physical display of His *Word* (*Is* Jesus Christ).
The physical body is called the seed for the resurrected body. When planted, a seed decomposes, and the new plant comes forth. The Bible uses this to illustrate resurrection.
Fire is always use by GOD to destroy the wicked. Throughout the Bible the destruction of a Human body or of an object by fire is used as a sign of divine wrath.
Wayward Planetary Children have never been given the freedom to choose the
destruction of his/her own body. No person chooses to die in a fire. If GOD does allow such to happen, it is His prerogative.
There is nothing GODly about Cremation. GODly INDIVIDUALS BURY THEIR DEAD. CREMATION IS OF THE HEATHEN. IT HAS A HEATHEN ORIGIN AND PURPOSE WHETHER SOME WANT TO BELIEVE IT OR NOT.
