Cremation- to consume by fire; burn.
Ash- the powdery residue of matter that remains after burning.
Dust- earth or other matter in fine, dry particles; the ground; the Earth's surface.

There is a big difference between ash and dust.
"Turn again unto dust" is the natural order of things.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Job 21:26 They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.
Job 34:15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
Psalms 104:29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
Ecclesiastes 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Cremation is defiling the temple of GOD.
Destruction of the body has never been condoned by GOD.

Amos 2:1
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
2:2 But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:
Amos 6:9 And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.
6:10 And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
6:11 For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.

Should a Christian condone this ungodly act?
Should a Christian ask their family members to commit such an ungodly act?
Not one place in the Bible will you find any GODly person ever cremating their dead. Even in difficult circumstances GOD's people in olden days practiced burial.
For example: Joseph's body was kept for over 400 years in Egypt and then carried through the 40 years of wilderness wanderings before being buried in Palestine, the Promised Land. (Genesis 50:24-25; Exodus 13:19 and Joshua 24:32)

GOD Himself buried Moses...
Deuteronomy 34:5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
34:6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

Our bodies belong to GOD; it is not ours to destroy by fire, or by any other means other than the way GOD has taught us through His written *Word* (the Bible) and His Physical display of His *Word* (*Is* Jesus Christ).
GOD's Physical Visitation (Jesus Christ) is Wayward Planetary Individuals greatest Example unto all things, both Physical and Spiritual.
Matthew 27:59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
27:60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

The physical body is called the seed for the resurrected body. When planted, a seed decomposes, and the new plant comes forth. The Bible uses this to illustrate resurrection.
I Corinthians 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Fire is always use by GOD to destroy the wicked. Throughout the Bible the destruction of a Human body or of an object by fire is used as a sign of divine wrath.
   • Sodom and Gomorrah- (2 Peter 2:6)
   • Nadab and Abihu- (Leviticus 10:1-2)
   • The men who rebelled with Korah- (Numbers 16:35)
   • Idols- (Exodus 32:20; Deuteronomy 7:25; 2 Kings 10:26; 1 Chronicles 14:12)
   • Magic books- (Acts 19:18-19)
   • Unsaved and eternal punishment- (Matthew 13:49-50; Luke 3:9; John 15:6; Revelation 20:9;
     Revelation 20:14-15; Revelation 21:8)

Ezekiel 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

A GODly *Spirit* of an Individual DOES return to GOD (in Heaven) to be protected and does rest (sleep) until GOD does resurrect that *Spirit* and *Soul* into a *New* body. Giving the *Spirit* and *Soul* a body to once again interact with its surroundings and other GODly Individuals.
While the GODly *Spirit* sleeps (rests) at physical death (waiting upon the resurrection), the Individual is aware of its surroundings, and the *Soul* continues to permanently record all the *Spirit* does experience.
The *Soul* does not sleep, or one would cease to exist. (Understanding of GOD's creativity of  the Human *Spirit* and *Soul* can be found on this website.)

An ungodly *Spirit* of an Individual DOES NOT return to GOD nor is it protected from Satan and his evil angels. An ungodly *Spirit* does suffer the Hell in which that *Spirit* has chosen. The ungodly *Spirit* is also aware of its surroundings, and never rests.  The *Soul* of an ungodly Individual does continue to record all it does experience until the second death (death of the Soul).  Once the *Soul* does become destroyed in the Lake of Fire, the *Spirit* does eventually dissipate.

Even though the brain does stop keeping the body alive, the *Mind* and *Soul* continue to function.
Just as an Individual is aware of Heaven, or Hell upon physical death, so too are Individuals aware of the physical being cremated.
An Individual is aware that their physical body is going through the fires of cremation.

Wayward Planetary Children have never been given the freedom to choose the
destruction of his/her own body.
No person chooses to die in a fire. If GOD does allow such to happen, it is His prerogative.

There is nothing GODly about Cremation.

GODly INDIVIDUALS BURY THEIR DEAD.

CREMATION IS OF THE HEATHEN. IT HAS A HEATHEN ORIGIN AND PURPOSE WHETHER SOME WANT TO BELIEVE IT OR NOT.

CREMATION
The GODly Do Bury
The Ungodly Do Cremate
