Once Saved Always Saved?
YES!!!

"Once Saved Always Saved" does hold true to those 'saved' Christians that apply Kingdom principles to their daily lives, and for evermore!!! Unfortunately, not all "Christians" that have obtained salvation continue/abide in their given salvation!

Adam and Eve walked with GOD, and did become lead astray and corrupted. Just as Adam and Eve allowed themselves to be seduced and deceived, so too can a "Christian"!
"Christians" can and do allow themselves to be seduced by Satan and/or the sin he does offer!

Christians are warned of deception and falsehood, and told to put on the full/whole armour of GOD for a reason! (Matt.24:24, Ephesians 6:11-17) 
Christian believers that don't put on the whole armour of GOD can and do allow themselves to be plucked out of the hands of GOD!

   •Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the 
    wiles of the devil.
   •Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to 
    withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Sin does create a void (separation) between GOD and His children....always has and always will!!!

   •Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your GOD, and your sins 
    have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

   •John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the 
    Father, but by me
.

   •Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD;

   •Ephesians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of GOD 
   
through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

GOD did provide the ultimate forgiveness and cleansing from sin through His Redemption and Salvation as JESUS CHRIST!

   •I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, 
    and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

   •I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse
    us from all unrighteousness.

   •Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to 
    declare his righteousness for the remission of sins
that are past, through the forbearance of  
    God;

   •Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath 
    through him.

   •Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins
    according to the riches of his grace; (Colossians 1:14)

   •Romans 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Wayward individuals are not saved in their sins or saved for their sins…
but saved from sin and its destruction!

   •Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall 
    save his people from their sins.

   •Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that 
    leadeth to destruction
, and many there be which go in thereat:

   •John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that 
    they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

   •Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus  
    Christ our Lord.
 
   •James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, 
    bringeth forth death

   •John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am 
    he, ye shall die in your sins.

One living in darkness to the reality of sin and its waywardness does not sight sin for what it truly is...destruction and demise! Nor do they have the 'Power' and ability to fight against sin without GOD's GODliness (as JESUS CHRIST)!

   •II Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which 
    believe not
, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine  
    unto them.

   •John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God
    even to them that believe on his name:

GOD did Physically show wayward man how to overcome evil and choose the Good as JESUS CHRIST! Through GOD's GODliness as JESUS CHRIST, wayward man can overcome all sin!!

   •Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

   •Romans 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

   •John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

   •Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit 
    unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Eternal life comes to the Christian believer who has everlasting faith, everlasting trust, and everlasting fellowship with GOD. Eternal life does not come to those that have faith, trust, fellowship with GOD for but a short season.

A Christian does have a responsibility unto the salvation that has been given them!!!
True-to-faith Christians do continue in His Goodness (Godliness) & keep oneself in His love!!!
 True-to-faith Christians do continually walk in their given salvation!!!

Eternal life does not become a guarantee after becoming 'saved' from sin, but rather something hoped for! It’s what one does with their given 'salvation' that determines whether they will reap the benefits! Salvation is the process needed to obtain eternal living life! Salvation does bring one back into fellowship with GOD, but being back into fellowship with GOD does not mean one cannot fall out of fellowship again. Choosing to sin can again ruin one’s relationship with GOD!

   •I Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin 
    at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
    4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

   •Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of 
    eternal life
.

   •Titus1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

   •Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and 
    rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

   •Luke13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and 
    shall not be able.

   •II Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the 
    inward man is renewed day by day

"Christians" that fall out of fellowship (not abide) with GOD do jeopardize receiving a most precious reward.... the crown of life (eternal living life)!!!

   •James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive 
    the crown of life,
which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

   •Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good 
    and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live 
    for ever: 
   •Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him 
    that overcometh
will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
   •Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to 
    the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

GOD's Grace does not change.....man does! GOD's 'Saving' Grace is no different than the Grace the Old Testament saints did walk in! GOD does expect the same righteous GODly behaviour from a Christian that was expected of any other saint before Christ, or they too shall fall!

   •I Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

   •I Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, 
    I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he 
    buildeth thereupon.

   •II Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: 
    for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  

   •II Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive 
    not the grace of God in vain.

GOD's 'Saving Grace' does teach wayward man to have self-control, and to live upright and Godly lives while the sin in this present world is tempting individuals and trying to seduce them daily to disobey GOD!

   •Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
    2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, 
    righteously, and godly, in this present world

GOD does not give His Grace to just anyone!

   •Proverbs 3:34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

   •Romans 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith 
    among all nations, for his name:

   •I Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one 
    to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the
    humble.

                    Can a Christian be holy and righteous without living holy and righteously?

   •Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the
    deeds of the body, ye shall live.

   •Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that 
    soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

   •II Peter 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: 
    for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
    2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord 
    and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is 
    worse with them than the beginning.

   •Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we 
    should be holy and without blame before him in love

    pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

   •II Peter 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot 
    in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings 
    while they feast with you;

   •I Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be 
    not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of 
    themselves with mankind,
    6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the 
    kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit does not dwell where sin and its waywardness does reside! Without the protection of the Holy Spirit, one can get snared by the wiles of sin and fall back into their old sinful ways!

   •II Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath 
    righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

   •Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul (Holy Spirit) 
   
shall have no pleasure in him.

   •Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works;
    or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except 
    thou repent
.

   •Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not 
    entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Sin is sin! The sin of a 'saved' Christian is no different than the sin of a 'lost' (unbelieving) individual. It's what a Christian does do with that sin that does distinguish the difference! Sin must be put away fully and completely! Repent and sin no more!

   •I Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be 
    not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of 
    themselves with mankind,
    6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the 
    kingdom of God.

   •Galatians 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you 
    before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the 
    kingdom of God.

   •Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, 
    who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

   •Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and 
    whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which 
    burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death.

   •Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of 
    heaven
; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Christians must put all sin in their life away, repent of *all* sin, and sin no more!
One's own iniquities must be nailed to the cross with repentance for atonement and redemption!

   •Isaiah 1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine 
    eyes; cease to do evil;

   •John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made 
    whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

   •Matthew 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, 
    seeking rest, and findeth none.
    12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he 
    findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
    12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and 
    they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be
    also unto this wicked generation.

Are Christian believers sinless?
NO!!!
Earth is a wayward world full of sin, and Christians will be subject to sin as long as sin does exist! The 'Good News' is, if **true-to-faith** Christians do fall short they have an Advocate,
JESUS CHRIST (I John 2:1)!

   •Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

   •I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us 
    from all unrighteousness.

True-to-faith Christians do abide in CHRIST, do learn to overcome sin, and do sin less! Those that  
truly love GOD will repent and overcome all ungodliness and unrighteousness!

   •I John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is 
    born of him.

   •II Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: 
    but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

                            Did we truly meet with CHRIST JESUS at the foot of the cross? 
                                                          Was our heart sincere? 

   •II Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the
    grace of God in vain
.

   •I Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, 
    which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye 
    have believed in vain.

True remorse is needed for any sin/transgression to be truly forgiven. One's heart must always be right with GOD. Those that truly love Him will be pure in heart! GOD knows the true heart of individuals at all times! It's the heart that does condemn!!!

   •Psalms 38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

   •II Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them 
    that call on the Lord out of a pure heart
.

   •Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth 
    confession is made unto salvation.

   •Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips;
    but their heart is far from me.

   •Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and 
    they defile the man
.

   •Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, 
    thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

   •Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; 
    and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the 
    abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

   •Romans 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath 
    against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of GOD;

   •Hebrews 4:12 For the word of GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged 
    sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is
    a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

   •Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
    sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

   •James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and 
    purify your hearts, ye double minded.

   •Ephesians 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of CHRIST, doing the will
    of GOD from the heart

    on his face he will worship GOD, and report that GOD is in you of a truth.

   •Luke 2:35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many

   •I John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward GOD.

   •Mark 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the 
    soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt

   •Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see GOD.

   •I Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good 
    conscience, and of faith unfeigned

   •James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

   •I John 3:19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

What does happen if one doesn't keep themselves cleansed from all sin?
There is no more sacrifice. They have corrupted what CHRIST had cleansed and made pure!
One's name can be blotted out of the Lambs book of life if an individual does continue down the path of corruption…
the seal, "marriage covenant", fellowship will become broken!!!
Being 'saved' (cleansed from sin) is not a one time deal while Christians are still subject to sin!

   •Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there
    remaineth no more sacrifice for sins
,

   •I Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep
    thyself pure.
 
   •Revelation 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments
    and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. 

   •Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not 
    blot out his name out of the book of life
, but I will confess his name before my Father, and 
    before his angels.

Are we wearing the right and undefiled wedding garment for eternal living life? (Matt.22).
Has corruption put on incorruption?
Adam and Eve chose fig leaves, and GOD gave them coats of skin (sacrificial covering).
Mankind cannot choose their own "covering" for eternal life.
GOD does not allow just any covering/garment for eternal living life!

   •Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle,
    or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish
(sin).

   •Matthew 22:11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not 
    on a wedding garment
:
    22:12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment?
    And he was speechless. 
    22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and 
    cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

   •Revelation 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; 
    and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

The seal of GOD is liken to a marriage bond. If the "Bride" leaves their first love (unfaithful), they have broken that bond (seal)! One's name can then be blotted out of the Lambs book of life!

   •Jeremiah 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery 
    I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce;
yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, 
    but went and played the harlot also.

   •Romans 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches (Israel), take heed lest he also 
    spare not thee
(believer).

The "Parent" remains faithful, it's the child that chooses to reject the "Parents" love and protection, the family, and the families code of conduct. The unfaithful and ungrateful "child" chooses to no longer be part of the family and all it does offer!

The LORD preserves the faithful Christian, not the unfaithful "believer". This is the true perseverance of the saints! Christians do sight GOD’s faithfulness throughout scripture, but lack to see the continual unfaithfulness of "believers"!

   •Psalms 31:23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and 
    plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

   •James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

How does a Christian be a 'doer' of the word?

   •I John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

   •Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, 
    righteously, and godly, in this present world;

The bible never declares one does obtain 'Eternal Salvation' (Hebrews 5:9) by faith alone! Faith and works go hand in hand!

   •James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

   •James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

   •James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

   •Matthew 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I 
    do, that I may have eternal life?
    19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: 
    but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
    19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit 
    adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
    19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
    19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I 
    yet?
    19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, 
    and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Let's address the concept that 'saved' Christians cannot do anything to KEEP themselves 'saved'  (spiritually pure) for 'Eternal Salvation', when GOD's written words does teach differently.
                                    What does GOD ask of every Christian believer?  

   •I John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

   •James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
   •Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear 
    the word of God, and do it.

   •John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.

   •John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

   •John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

   •II Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from
    all filthiness of the flesh and spirit
, perfecting holiness in the fear of GOD.

   •Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take 
    up his cross daily, and follow me
.

   •Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ 
    unto eternal life.

   •Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that 
    obey him;

   •II Peter1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election 
    sure
for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

   •I John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of GOD sinneth not; but he that is begotten of GOD

   •Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, 
    but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

   •John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then 
    are ye my disciples indeed;

   •Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; 
    but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut 
    off

   •I Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of GOD commit the keeping of 
    their souls
to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

   •John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in

   •I Corinthians 7:24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with GOD.
   •I John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have 
    confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
   •John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather 
    them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

    the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

   •Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the 
    Lord:

   •Hebrews 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence 
    stedfast unto the end

   •Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some

Another misunderstanding is 'repentance'.
Repentance did not end with salvation!!!
Sin does put and keep the LORD on the cross!
Repentance does bring Him down!
JESUS did die for all sin of this world.
There is no sin mankind of this world can commit that
was not covered on the cross, but one must repent of all
sin in one’s life, including daily sin to become fully forgiven
and cleansed from *all* sin
.
(I Corinthians 15:31)
If this was not so, then Christians would not need an Advocate (I John 2:1),
the HOLY SPIRIT would not need to reprove a Christian of sin (John 16:7-8),
nor the need for a Day of Redemption!

   •Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare 
    his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

   •II Peter 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren 
    nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he 
    was purged from his old sins
.
    1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if 
    ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

   •I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us 
    from all unrighteousness.

Jesus does teach Christians to pray….
   •Luke 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead 
    us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

A child that does NOT say they are sorry will likely to do wrong again because the
child has NOT truly sighted, confronted, nor dealt with the wrong they have done.

Does not a child show their love and respect when saying they are sorry?
How much more should/would one want to show their Heavenly Father love

and respect with repentance?
Christians should never take forgiveness for granted from anyone, especially GOD!

   •Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also 
    which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

   •Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your 
    trespasses.

GOD's given Salvation is not a gift to be taken lightly, or for granted!

   •II Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves
    Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Man is unlike any other creature upon the planet only because they have an extensive ability to choose their own destiny! GOD has never sought to restrict man of this ability to choose their own destiny, unless their choice has come in conflict with GOD's planned workings upon the planet!

Within GOD's planned workings upon the planet, GOD did bring forth and offered the Gift of 'Salvation' (as JESUS CHRIST) to the entirety of this planet and its inhabitants, because GOD did not want to have to bring an end to the entirety of the planet (as would have taken place long ago if such Work were not completed).

In giving this Gift, GOD did not and has not forced man to accept it. Instead, GOD has allowed man the choice of either accepting it, or rejecting it. If they do not choose to accept GOD's given 'Salvation', it is the individuals choice,...not GOD's.
Yet it must also be remembered that man's freedom to choose in becoming 'saved', and becoming given 'Salvation' does not end with 'Salvation'.
In accepting GOD's given 'Saving Graces of Salvation', so does GOD give man the choice whether or not to follow, or continue to follow after that 'Salvation'!

   •Psalms 25:12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall 
    choose.

   •Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will 
    serve


   •Psalms 37:27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

GOD did create His children with a mind and heart of their own!
This never changes!
GOD is not an owner of mindless and heartless robots,…
that’s the workings of Satan and the sin he does offer.

You can't have true love without choice!!!

Christians always have the choice whether to love GOD and His Godliness with all their heart, mind and soul. As in a marriage proposal, the prospective bride has the choice to say yes or no. The Bride of CHRIST (Christian) also has a choice whether or not to follow GOD's Godliness fully and completely.

A Christian believer can willingly walk away/give up their salvation....turning back to their wayward ways and sinful lifestyle!
Sadly, many "Christians" have and will continue to willingly walk away from their 'first love'  (Revelation 2:4) because they are to weak to put sin completely away, or fight the good fight of righteousness!

   •II Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of 
    the Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter 
    end is worse with them than the beginning. 
    2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they 
    have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
    2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his 
    own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire
.

   •Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

   •Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in 
    departing from the living GOD
.

   •Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul (Holy Spirit)
   
shall have no pleasure in him. 
    10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the
    saving of the soul.   

   •I Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from
    the faith,
giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

   •I Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity (love) out of a pure heart, and of a 
    good conscience, and of faith unfeigned

    1:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

   •I Timothy 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning 
    faith
have made shipwreck:

"Once saved always saved" does not mean that after being 'saved', that one can never fall from their being 'saved'.

If one could never fall from being 'saved' then GOD would not have spent so much time warning Christian believers with words such as:...backslider...hypocrites...lukewarm...sleeping foolish virgins
...depart from the faith...turn away ...Laodicean's...prodigals...false teachers…false prophets
...wolves in sheep’s clothing...lead astray...lost sheep…unprofitable servant...apostasy
...dogs returning to their vomit...lost faith...mockers & scoffers...revive...faithless...fall away
...branches that don't produce fruit are cut off...without spot/blemish.

   •Romans 2:3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the 
    same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of GOD?
    2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing 
    that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
    2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of 
    wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of GOD; 
    2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

   • II Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every 
    one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be 
    good or bad.

   •Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not 
    highminded, but fear:
    11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
    11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of GOD: on them which fell, severity; but 
    toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

   •John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather 
    them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

   •Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to 
    themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
    6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet 
    for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
    6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose   
    end is to be burned.

   •Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be 
    weeping and gnashing of teeth.

   •Mark 4:16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have
    heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness
 
    4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or
    persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. 
    4:18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 
    4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things 
    entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

   •Matthew 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which 
    bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire

   •II Chronicles 15:2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah
    and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of
    you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

   •Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
    2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I 
    will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou 
    repent.

   •Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of 
    heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
    7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy 
    name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 
   •Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
   •Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye
    workers of iniquity.

 
  •Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither 
    did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

   •Luke 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

If a 'saved' Christian could never fall from being 'saved' than there would be:
1. No need for Church... only ministry!
2. No need for Prayer! (Matt.26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.)
3. No need for the HOLY SPIRIT to reprove (convict) believers of sin (John 16:7-8)
4. No need for an Advocate for sin! (I John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:)
5. No need for a Day of Redemption!
6. No need for Judgment itself! (II Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.)

The "once saved always save" doctrine today does teach no punishment for sin…same lie told to Eve in the garden (Genesis 3:4)! The "once saved always save" doctrine also teaches believers to be, or its okay to be lukewarm! Jesus says He will spue those believers that are lukewarm out of His mouth (Revelation 3:16)!

Today's doctrine of "OSAS" does hinge on new age and universalism teachings! Wages of sin is death for a believer and a non-believer alike. GOD will not allow any sin to corrupt His Heavens...no sin will enter His Kingdom!

   •Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ
    our Lord.

   •Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of 
    heaven
; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

"Once saved Always saved" does hold true to those Christians that:
1. Take up their cross daily (put away sin daily)
2. Obey (walk as he walked)
3. Abide in Him (continue in GOD's GODliness as JESUS CHRIST)
4. Overcome sin and its waywardness
5. Remain faithful to GOD and their given salvation for evermore!

   •Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;

   •James 1:6 For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Christians do have the choice to choose between Satan's sin and its destruction,
or to continue fully and completely in their given Salvation for Eternal Salvation! 
Are we cold or Hot in Christ (GOD‘s Godliness)?

   •Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
    3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my
    mouth.
 
   •James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, 
    neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into 
    condemnation.

"Christians" that love, defend, and/or embrace sin in any way shape or form will be subject to the penalty of sin….death!

   •James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is 
    enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

   •Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are 
    worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

"No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other." (Luke 16:13)

Have we cleaned up our lives?
Have we fully and completely put on GOD's Godliness (as JESUS CHRIST)?

   •I John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither 
    known him.

   I John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

It is profitable for Christians to take the time to weigh their selves in the balances of scripture and see if they are really manifesting the evidence of the new birth (I John). If they do and they are…they will rejoice all the more in what CHRIST has accomplished for them. Far better this, than to find oneself 
in hell and discover that their hope was that of the hypocrite which will perish (Job 8:13 So are the paths of all that forget GOD; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:).

Eternal Salvation is conditional!!!

   •John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born 
    again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  

   •John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  

   •I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word 
    of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

   •II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are 
    passed away; behold,
all things are become new. 

   •Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might 
    be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

   •Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;  

   •Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after GOD is created in righteousness and
    true holiness.

   •Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image 
    of him that created him:

GOD doesn’t force anyone to love Him and His Godliness, nor does He force anyone to fully and completely follow after and continue in GOD’s given salvation! GOD does know who truly wants to be a son/daughter of the Kingdom!

   •I Corinthians 8:3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

   •II Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord 
    knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from 
    iniquity.

   •John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

   •John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

   •Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to 
    escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
